亞洲奧林匹克理事會代表大會今天在南韓仁川松島會展中心舉行，大會公布2018年第18屆亞運將在印尼雅加達舉行。

南韓聯合新聞通訊社指出，下一屆亞運原定於2019年在越南河內舉行。2009年，亞奧理事會決定從2014年仁川亞運之後，改為在奧運的前一年舉行亞運，這是出於對亞運收視率與影響力的考量，因為2018年還將舉行冬奧與世界盃足球賽。

但越南政府因財力問題，於今年4月放棄了亞運主辦權。

據報導，此後，印尼申辦亞運，最終成功獲得了主辦權。但由於印尼2019年舉行總統選舉，印尼政府要求將亞運舉辦時間改為2018年，因此，下屆亞運仍將在4年之後舉行。(中央社)
